Excel Chart Shortcut Key

Charts

Using an Excel chart shortcut key makes it quick and easy to create and view a chart. If you like what you see, then you can just as quickly move it to any worksheet you select.

To quickly create a chart in Excel, select a cell in the data you want charted. If the block of chart data is touching other filled cells that do not belong in the chart, then manually select only the data you want charted.

To open the chart, press F11. The chart will appear in a new sheet, but you can move the chart into any other sheet by right-clicking at the edge of the chart and choosing Move Chart. From the Move Chart dialog box select where you want the chart and click Ok.
